Felipe de Bustamante has over 17 years of experience at Los Angeles Unified School District. He currently directs the Enterprise Reporting & Integration Branch which is responsible for the District’s Analytical Decision Support Systems and the integration of data for systems districtwide. He has solid experience managing developers with full lifecycle Project Management from conception, including technology assessment, deliverables, project timeline creation to development, management, implementation.
Reporting directly to LAUSD’s Chief Information Officer, he has more than 25 years in IT experience. Before serving at LAUSD, Mr. de Bustamante was a Consultant with James Martin & Co. and Oracle Corporation where he worked on projects in the telecommunications and metallurgical sector. Additionally, Mr. de Bustamante has served as a Data Architect in a logistics company and as Technical Data Control Manager in a prescription clearinghouse. Mr. de Bustamante holds a Masters of Science degree in Information Systems from The American University and a School Business Management Certificate from the University of Southern California.
