HR Self Service for Principals

The Human Resources and Information Technology Divisions are proud to announce a new feature that is now available to all time keepers and approvers: HR Self Service for Principals. Now, school sites can generate their own real-time list of pre-screened Certificated candidates to interview.

One common concern with eligibility lists is that the information quickly becomes out of date as people are hired or their contact information changes. In order to keep your lists fresh, the new system does not display any candidates that have already been selected, and the system also contains the most up to date contact information that is available to the District. For example, if an employee updates their phone number in ESS, the new phone number will show up on the eligibility list within a few hours.

Once a selection is made, the Intent to Hire can be submitted electronically, and each school site can view the status of their submitted requests. To access this new feature, simply log into the SAP portal ( and click the “HR Self-Service” tab. You can even access it from home!
