Digital Library Fluency Module

The purpose of this collection of work is to build teacher and student understanding of the development and progression of computational fluency in the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. The materials provide a clear picture of what computational fluency looks like and sounds like, as well as instructional tools, which can be immediately utilized in classrooms. Included in this collection are a series of instructional tasks, interview and paper-pencil assessment tasks, and videos. A team from Illustrative Mathematics created these materials in collaboration with Smarter Balanced.
