    LAUSD Face Mask Accommodation/Exemption Request

    In conformance with current health orders and guidance, during and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) requires students to wear a face mask while attending in-person assessment, services, and/or instruction in a cohort. LAUSD recognizes that some students may be unable to comply with the face mask requirement due to a disability, medical and/or mental health condition(s).     This month, marks one year ago that the global pandemic disrupted the daily instruction for all of our students. Although we have made progress with Distance Learning, we recognize that our school buildings is where our students need to be to have the most enriching educational experience.

  • Special Education Assessments and Related Services

    Special Education Assessments and Related Services

    Beginning on Thursday, March 4, 2021, the District will resume voluntary in-person services for our students with disabilities. These services include, tutoring, special education assessments and in-person related services, as appropriate. Also, the District will continue to provide all other on-going virtual instruction, assessments and related services.
