Employees are responsible for maintaining their permit/credential. Proper certification must be on file. Failure to provide proof that your permit/credential with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing has been renewed prior to the expiration date will result in your assignment being terminated at the close of business on the expiration date. Termination of employment will preclude any further payment by the District for such an assignment and will end eligibility for medical, dental, optical, and insurance benefits.
All LAUSD employees must obtain an updated TB test every four years. It is the teacher's responsibility to keep his/her CPR and First Aid cards up to date. Submit any updated documents to Early Childhood Education Human Resources Unit.
