  • Parent Portal

The Parent Portal is your one-stop online tool for important information about your child. Using the Parent Portal, you access the instructional activities and resources for your child. Login or register today.

A personal identification number (PIN) is required to allow your child’s school to verify you are the actual parent or guardian and have rights to the student’s information. You will need to contact your child’s school to receive your PIN in order to complete your Parent Portal registration. If you have questions about the Parent Portal, please call the Family Hotline at (213) 443-1300 between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Student Supervision

Student supervision will be provided at select elementary, middle and high schools from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Every effort will be made to accommodate your child at the site you select for student supervision. Should the site you choose be at capacity, you will be directed to an alternative site.

  • On-Demand Tutoring

All students from kindergarten to 12th grade have access to on-demand tutoring from Paper.co or Tutor.com.

  • Cultural and Educational Experiences

  • In addition to resources from Los Angeles Unified, we also encourage our school communities to explore and visit enrichment activities located throughout Los Angeles:

  • Los Angeles Public Library

During school closures, the Los Angeles Public Library will be open with normal business hours. In addition to the regularly scheduled events for kids and teens, which range from science workshops to craft programs to chess clubs, all 73 libraries will be prepared to engage kids, teens and families with fun and educational hands-on activities such as science bingo, building-brick challenges or word games, crafts and more.

The Library also offers many digital resources that can be accessed from home or library computers, including online tutoring and homework help and e-books, streaming movies, music and more.

All Los Angeles Unified students already have an assigned Student Success Card to provide access to all the Library has to offer. To access online resources, students only need their Student Success Card number and PIN. There are never fines or fees on a Student Success Card. For more information, please visit the Library's Student Success Card page.
