Welcome Back to School
Return to Campus Family Guide
The Return to Campus Family Guide provides much of the information you’ll need to make the decision about whether your child will return to school for the remainder of the semester or continue with online instruction. Once you have a full understanding of the choices, we ask you to let us know whether your child will return to the classroom or complete the semester online. Schools will need that information to finalize plans to make sure every student gets the best possible education.
A Day in the Life
Second-grader Mia shows us what a typical day will be like for elementary school students when they return to campus.
COVID-19 Testing, Contact Tracing, and Vaccination Program
Los Angeles Unified is providing COVID-19 testing for all students and staff, as well as vaccinations for all staff, in the Safe Steps to Safe Schools program. In addition, Los Angeles Unified has launched the Daily Pass, a web app that allows students, staff, and visitors to complete a Daily Health Check to return to campus.
Learn more on the Safe Steps to Safe Schools website and read the FAQ about COVID testing, vaccinations, and the Daily Pass.
