The Los Angeles Unified Parent Portal is your one-stop online tool for important information about your child. Using the Parent Portal, you can view your child’s assignments and grades, attendance, test scores, and much more. It is also important to have access to the Parent Portal so that you can ensure that the school has your correct contact information.
A personal identification number (PIN) is required to access your child’s information through the Parent Portal. This PIN is used to verify you are the actual parent or guardian and have rights to the student’s information. You will need to contact your child’s school to receive your PIN in order to complete your Parent Portal registration. If you have questions about the Parent Portal or need support with registration, please call the Los Angeles Unified family hotline at (213) 443-1300.
Troubleshooting Tips for Students
Here are a few troubleshooting tips for common technology issues for students, such as how to make sure your device's camera is working for Zoom, how to launch Zoom on your device, and how to find the Zoom app on your device.
How to Reset a Student's Email Password
To activate an account or update a password, do the following:
Go to https://mylogin.lausd.net
Select Activate your account or Reset your password
Review and accept the LAUSD Responsible Use Policy by reviewing the document, checking the box below the document, and clicking on Accept
Enter the student’s identification number (above), birthdate, and personal identification number (PIN)
If you don’t know the student’s PIN, there are several options for you:
Option A: The PIN has been mailed to you in a letter. When you have received that letter, use the information to follow the above steps.
Option B: Follow the link at https://mylogin.lausd.net about resetting your password and answer some security questions that only the student would know the answer to, in order to activate the account and/or reset a password.
Option C: Call the student's school for help.

Option D: Call our Families Helpdesk at (213) 443-1300 to request assistance, if your school has not been able to reset your password.

Student Productivity Tools
MyMail accounts are provisioned through Google and enable students to customize access to Google tools, including Google Docs, Classrooms, Forms, Drawing, YouTube and others.
To access go to Google.com and log in with an LAUSD MyMail account.
Microsoft Office 365
LA Unified students can access the full range of Microsoft Office productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Go to portal.office.com and log in using your LAUSD MyMail account.
