Los Angeles Unified students, staff, parents and partners champion their communities every day.
This week we recognize Los Angeles Unified alumnus Johnathan Franklin for his hard work, resilience and service, on and off the football field. As a Dorsey grad and UCLA All-American, he was drafted into the NFL by the Green Bay Packers. Even with a life-altering injury, Johnathan resolved to dedicate his time to the community as the Social Justice and Community Development leader for the Los Angeles Rams and provide supportive pathways to help students reach their potential and follow their dreams.
