1. VSP - Essential Medical Eye Care
Active employees and retirees enrolled in VSP Vision Care have access to supplemental coverage for urgent and medical eye care. Through Essential Medical Eye Care, members can receive fully-covered, non-invasive retinal screenings to monitor diabetes and exams/services to treat immediate issues like pink eye or monitor ongoing health conditions such as dry eye and glaucoma. 2. MetLife Basic Life Insurance - Update Your Beneficiary
If you are an active employee enrolled in LAUSD Basic Life Insurance, please review and update your beneficiary designations using the instructions here. 3. Anthem Medicare Preferred (PPO)
The Anthem Medicare Preferred (PPO) medical plan is available to retirees and their dependents who are over the age of 65 with Medicare Parts A and B. This 50 state Medicare plan includes enhanced benefits such as no copays, no coinsurance, no deductibles, and offers the same benefits whether you use an in-network or out-of-network provider that accepts Medicare.
