  • What is symbaloo?

Symbaloo is a personal startpage that allows you to easily navigate the web and compile your favorite site all in to one visual interface. Save your bookmarks in the cloud and access them from anywhere with any device.
What we have done is create symbaloo pages SPECIFICALLY to certain resources that you may need for yourself or your students.

Once you click on the URL, you will be prompted to "Start Using this Webmix" if you are a new user, or "Add this Webmix" if you are already a symbaloo-er.   You are not required to have an account to use this. It will prompt for a sign in. You can CLICK off the box or sign in with your existing Google or Facebook account.  The choice is yours. If you do sign in, however, it will save the symbaloo you like to your account.

This symbaloo page was created specifically to support both teachers and students in the different areas of phonological awareness and phonics.  Foundational skills are the basic skills that need to be taught and developed first and foremost. These skills are the foundations that hold our learning ability together.  The pages are categorized by print concept, phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, ELD, Social Studies, Early Lit Resources, Science, and LAUSD quick links.

Your students in TK-2 can also prep for the SBAC! On this symbaloo page are some sites that will allow students to practice their clicking, dragging, dropping, highlighting, etc.
