These guides were design to support classrooms built to focus on foundational skills. Once you get into the document, know that ALL of the boxes are hyperlinked to immediate resources that you can use for your planning and instruction. The STANDARDS column is linked to the specific standards. The INSTRUCTION column is linked to content specific resources the Division of Instruction and Teacher Fellow Teams have designed to support the standards. The RESOURCES column is linked to a SYMBALOO, which is a webpage of bookmarks, and other resources. On the same page, up above, the calendar is linked to the district reference guide of test dates. And finally, the TRC and DIBELS goals are linked to the Amplify site. This document is best used on the computer to access the extra resources. However, the calendar and benchmark goals are great to post in the class.

With the number of instructional days broken down, along with the alignment to Treasures, this detailed map provides the perfect tool for planning each instructional unit with the other content areas in mind. These maps range from 12-15 pages long and can be effective utilized during grade level or backwards planning.You may be familiar with this as these are the same maps as last year. Each instructional block represents a 9-10 week frame to integrate language and literacy instruction.
