  • The School Experience Survey is an annual survey administered to all LAUSD schools. The survey reports give each school important insight into what staff, students and parents think about their school's learning environment.

  • 2017-18 Survey Reference Guide is Now Available!

    Please click here to download the Reference Guide for 2017-18. Survey administration will take place between, October 30th and November 17th, 2017 and completed paper-based parent surveys must be delivered to the Testing Centers by November 15th, 2017. Note that all student and staff surveys must be taken online while parents have the option of taking the survey online instead of the paper-based version.

  • School Experience Survey to be Administered this Fall

    In response to requests from numerous schools to have the School Experience Survey administration window more closely align with parent-teacher conferences, the School Experience Survey will no longer be administered in January/February. The new window for the administration of the School Experience Survey is October 30th to November 17th, 2017. School Experience Survey materials will be delivered to schools the week of October 23rd, 2017.

    Other changes this year: To reduce the amount of time required to complate School Experience Surveys and to reduce respondent fatigue, the parent and student surveys have fewer items than in past years. Also, students in grade 3 will no longer participate in the School Experience Survey.

  • New School Experience Survey Dashboard Now Available!

    We are happy to announce a new interactive dashboard that displays survey results at the school-,local district-, and district-level. The new School Experience Survey Dashboard provides a better way to view survey results. Additional features will be added soon including the ability to display results by grade, gender, ethnicity, language status, and special education status.
