The Creative Network
112th Street Elementary
Geoffrey Lutz is one of the Creative Network teachers that provides Theatre arts instruction to students at 112th St Elementary. The pictures illustrate his work with 5th grade students who are learning about melodrama and the components of exposition, conflict, climax and resolution.
The Creative Network is an articulated arts program that the Arts Education Branch provides to participating elementary schools throughout the District. K-2 students in the Creative Network receive blended arts integration instruction, while grades 3-5 classes receive discrete instruction in Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts.

Featuring STEAM arts integration workshops. Among the LD South presenters were Douglas Goble, Elementary Dance Teacher, Cathryn Deering, Elementary Arts Coordinator/Music Teacher, and myself (Grace Park). Also, Anna Stampfli from Arts Youth Empowerment presented.
