The mission of the Office of Government Relations is to ensure that the Los Angeles Unified School District and the students it serves benefit from legislation, funding, and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels for the improvement of teaching and learning. The office advocates for the enactment of policies and budgets that support the priorities identified by the Board and the Superintendent to promote student achievement.
