    LAUSD School Board approved the opening of six full school magnets and 29 magnet centers for the 2019-20 school year. Our District is committed to providing quality choices for our communities.  Currently, more than 78,000 students participate in  magnet programs throughout the district.  LAUSD will offer 292 magnet program options for families in the 2019-20 school year.
