Fleet Vehicle Services
The Transportation Services Division’s Fleet Maintenance Section operates five major garage facilities to maintain approximately 2,800 District-owned school buses, trucks, autos, and vans. In addition, Fleet Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the fleet inventory registration, including ownership and licensing records; providing District vehicle specifications to ensure consistency; and monitoring the District’s fuel inventory and infrastructure.
Information regarding the new purchase and use of District vehicles:
Provides the District policy regarding the acceptable use of District-owned vehicles, including procedures and respnsibilities.

Provides District policy and responsibilities related to all vehicle purchases relevant to vehicle specifications approval, and the competitive procurement process of acquiring District vehicles.
Provides information on alternative-fueled vehicles that have been approved for purchase for use in the District's administrative vehicle program.
