• Fleet Vehicle Services


    The Transportation Services Division’s Fleet Maintenance Section operates five major garage facilities to maintain approximately 2,800 District-owned school buses, trucks, autos, and vans.  In addition, Fleet Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the fleet inventory registration, including ownership and licensing records; providing District vehicle specifications to ensure consistency; and monitoring the District’s fuel inventory and infrastructure.

    Provides the District policy regarding the acceptable use of District-owned vehicles, including procedures and responsibilities.

    Policy and Responsibilities for the Purchase of all Vehicles including the use of Hybrid or Alternative Energy Vehicles for District Fleet - BUL 4143.0

    Provides District policy and responsibilities related to all vehicle purchases relevant to vehicle specifications approval, and the competitive procurement process of acquiring District vehicles.

    Approved Alternative-Fueled Vehicles for District Fleet

    Provides information on alternative-fueled vehicles that have been approved for purchase for use in the District's administrative vehicle program.
