LAASC Candidate Selection
Los Angeles Unified launched the Los Angeles Administrative Services Credential (LAASC) program to support its employees on their path to receiving a clear credential while maintaining an administrative position. The priority is given to administrators with the earliest preliminary administrative credential expiration date.
Administrator A - Preliminary Administrative Credential expiration date is February 20, 2022
- AP,EIS position for the past 2 years, she activated her credential in 2017 when she served as a summer school administrator
Administrator B - Preliminary Administrative Credential expiration date is October 2, 2024
- AP,EIS position for the past 3 years, she activated her credential in 2019
If both administrators apply to the LAASC program, who would be selected for the upcoming cohort?
- Priority would be given to Administrator A as her preliminary credential has an earlier expiration date. Administrator B, if not selected for the upcoming cohort, would be placed on the LAASC waitlist.
Current waitlist is closed. Applicants that were not selected for cohort 12 or cohort 13 were informed and placed on the waitlist for future cohorts. Applicants on the waitlist will be notified when they have been selected for the next cohort. No need to reapply.
If you are interested in applying for future LAASC cohorts, please complete the Los Angeles Administrative Services Credential (LAASC) Program Interest Survey. Once the waitlist is exhausted, the LAASC program application will be sent out to the administrators on the interest list.
