Social Distancing Protocols
The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health has required that all places of business, including LAUSD District Offices and work sites, notify employees and visitors to follow the social distance protocols that are in affect at these facilities. To be granted access to an LAUSD Facility, employees and visitors must meet the facility entry screening questions requirement and the face covering requirement.
Facility Entry Screening Questions Requirement
Employees and visitors must answer "NO" to the following questions to enter the facility:
- Have you had a fever and/or a cough while sick and/or difficulty breathing in the last 72 hours?
- Have you taken fever-reducing medications (like, but not limited to, Tylenol, Advil, or Motrin) while having a fever, in the last 72 hours?
- Have you traveled outside of the country in the last 14 days?
- To the best of your knowledge, have you been exposed to anyone tested for or confirmed with the coronavirus in the last 14 days?
Do NOT enter this LAUSD facility if you answer “YES” to any of the questions above.
LAUSD employees should notify their supervisor immediately if answering “YES” to any question.
Face Covering Requirement
To slow the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Public Health requires that face coverings be worn while interacting with others within public spaces.
Face coverings do NOT replace other social distancing requirements.
Individuals should remain at least 6 feet apart from one another.
