Community Schools Cohort II Application ProcessUPDATEThank you for taking the time to complete this short survey to inform the relaunch of the Community School Cohort II application which was recently postponed due to school closures and safer at home orders. The Community School Steering Committee is soliciting feedback on 3 new application timeline options that will allow school teams to authentically engage with school, parent, student, and community stakeholders in order to submit a strong Community School application. At this time we expect that the application questions that were distributed in early March will remain the same. Please use the link below to complete the survey, feel free to contact me at email@example.com if you have any further questions. The Los Angeles Unified School District believes that a Community School should operate as a hub of its neighborhood, uniting families, educators, and community partners to provide all students with quality instruction, enrichment, health and mental health, social-emotional services and opportunities to succeed in school and in life. The District is opening an application process for Cohort II Community Schools.
The application process involves the following:
• a planning year with an allocation of $150,000 per identified school
• a second funding allocation of $250,000 for implementation during the 2021-2022 school
