Community Schools Cohort II Application ProcessThe Los Angeles Unified School District believes that a Community School should operate as a hub of its neighborhood, uniting families, educators, and community partners to provide all students with quality instruction, enrichment, health and mental health, social-emotional services and opportunities to succeed in school and in life. The District is opening an application process for Cohort II Community Schools.
The application process involves the following:
• a planning year with an allocation of $150,000 per identified school
• a second funding allocation of $250,000 for implementation during the 2021-2022 school
Applications materials will be due on April 27, 2020 by 5 p.m.
An application workshop for any interested schools to be held on March 28, 2020 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at UTLA Headquarters, 3303 Wilshire Blvd. L.A., Ca 90010, Second Floor (childcare and interpretation will be provided). Please use the link below to register your school teams.
