    Who Has Access?

The Whole Child Integrated Data platform is now available at all LA Unified K-12 locations. These roles receive automatic access:

    • Teachers
    • Out-of-classroom support staff (Teachers without rosters, coordinators, etc.)
    • Counselors
    • Assistant Principals
    • Principals

Other school-site, Local District, and Central Office roles may receive access by completing the access request form under Platform Resources on the website.

    How to Access the Platform

Depending on your preference, there are various ways of accessing Whole Child Integrated Data:

    What is in the Platform?

The screens to which a user has access depends on their user role. The following screens make up the Teacher Workbench, which was developed for use by teachers:

    • Teacher Toolbox - is available to review individualized student notifications regarding actions the teacher can take to support that child, the teacher’s Google calendar, and quick access to other student information applications.
    • Course Schedule - is a filtering feature so that administrators, teachers, and school support staff may quickly view and select a class period, section roster, or course title to progress monitor students’ social emotional and academic performance.
    • Classroom View - is a filtering feature so that teachers may quickly view and select a class period, section roster, or course title to progress monitor students’ social emotional and academic performance.
    • Student Monitoring - data panels appear on the Student Monitoring page and display the metrics related to a single topic, for example college/career readiness, English learner reclassification, attendance, and literacy in one spreadsheet.  The data may be filtered and sorted by the column headers. Clicking on a student name in the spreadsheet provides the ability to drill down to that individual student’s Profile. The Student Monitoring and Data Panels are accessed through the navigation menu icon available on every page or by clicking a Data Card on the Group, Classroom, or Caseload Views.
    • Whole Child View - provides a complete picture of the whole child including enrollment history, attendance, behavior, and special education services.
    • Student Search - provides quick access to the Whole Child View for any student as well as College Readiness Guides for high school students.
    • Instructional Support Catalog - provides detailed information about the California State Standards, resources, programs, services and interventions for all grade levels and courses. The plan is to link student data to resources and interventions.

Additional screens are accessible by other roles on the Student Support Workbench and Principal Workbench:

    • Student Support Toolbox - is available to review student notifications regarding actions the user can take to support that child, the user’s Google calendar, and quick access to other student information applications.
    • School View - is a filtering feature so that administrators and school support staff may quickly view and select a school to progress monitor students’ social emotional and academic performance.
    • Program View - is a filtering feature so that administrators and school support staff may quickly view and select an academic or student support program to progress monitor students’ social emotional and academic performance.
    • Group View - is a filtering feature so that administrators, teachers, and school support staff may quickly view and select a group within a school to progress monitor students’ social emotional and academic performance. Groups are pulled from MiSiS Managed Groups. See MiSiS job aids for information about creating Groups.
    • SWD Caseload View - clusters students with disabilities by classroom and service provider caseload. The data and graph reports display student information and performance available from Welligent.
    • SHHS Caseload View - clusters students served by the Homeless and Foster Youth Programs to provide data by caseload as recorded in the Student Support System (S3).
    • Student Monitoring - see above.
    • Whole Child View - see above.
