College & Career Readiness Survey
The College & Career Readiness Survey is an annual survey administered in the spring to students in grades 9-12. Results from this survey provide information about high school students’ experiences planning for their career and also planning for, applying to, and enrolling in college. This survey also supports the Board Resolution on Creating Pathways to Lifelong Success for Our Students by informing District practices and services that support students as they plan for and transition to college. The College & Career Readiness Survey will be administered by schools May 1 to June 7, 2019.
Students in grades 9-12 at all traditional high schools, continuation schools, special education schools, and affiliated charter schools should complete this online survey. To ensure that College & Career Readiness Survey results are reflective of students’ needs and experiences, schools should take steps to ensure that all eligible students participate.
A District report will be produced from the College & Career Readiness Survey results and shared with school sites. In addition, school-level results will be reported for each participating school and will be accessible to the public via the new College & Career Readiness Survey Dashboard (available this fall) as well as via a downloadable Excel data file.
