A student who satisfactorily passes 5 of 6 components of the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is eligible for an optional two-year physical education exemption.

Students who do not satisfactorily pass 5 of 6 components of the PFT in grade 9 must be given the opportunity to take the PFT again in grades 10, 11 & 12. Please see LAUSD Bulletin 2457.1.

Data from these additional attempts must be recorded electronically through the LAUSD's new online platform in MiSiS. The Student Testing Branch (STB) has developed this online platform to facilitate the collection of student scores from schools. The system is now operational.

  • Physical Education Teachers will need to request access to the new online platform by using oneAccess.  https://oneaccess.lausd.net
  • Teachers should request “PE Teacher” role for MiSiS through the oneAccess application.
  • A job aid for oneAccess is available here.

A job aid for the new application is available here:
