Concurrent and Dual Enrollment
College and Career Access Pathways Act (AB 288)
Assembly Bill 288 (AB 288) authorizes California Community College districts to enter into formal partnership agreements with local school districts to expand access to dual enrollment opportunities for high school students. Known as the College and Career Access Pathways Partnership, the Act’s goal is developing seamless pathways from high school to community college for career technical education or preparation for transfer, improving high school graduation rates, and helping high school pupils achieve college and career readiness. The Board of Education approved the CCAP Partnership agreement with LACCD on September 20, 2016.
