    Financing Your Postsecondary Plans                                                       

    California Student Aid Commission (CSAC)



    California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) is the state agency responsible for administering financial aid programs for students attending public and private universities, colleges, and vocational schools in California.  It administers  the Cal Grant Programs, the California Chafee Grant for Foster Youth, the Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) among other aid programs.

     
    CSAC has a dedicated site for students that provide them with resources, information, links and tools needed to assist with the college financial aid process. WebGrants 4 Students (WGS) allows students to manage Cal Grant and/or Chafee account/s online such as: 


        •    View updates  

        •    Make school changes  

        •    Make address changes  

        •    Make corrections  

        •    Post leave of absence requests  


     

    Students must create a “WebGrants for Students” account on this page before the schools can disburse the first payment. Colleges are in charge of disbursing all Cal Grant payments.  To learn more, visit the WebGrants 4 Students website:
