California Student Aid Commission (CSAC)
The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) is the state agency responsible for administering financial aid programs for students attending public and private universities, colleges, and vocational (trade) schools in California.
WebGrants 4 Students (WGS) allows you to manage your Cal Grant and/or Chafee Account/s online and provides resources such as:
- View updates
- Make school changes
- Make address changes
- Make corrections
- Post leave of absence requests
You must set up a WGS account before your schools can disburse the first payment. Colleges are in charge of disbursing all Cal Grant payments.
Check with your college’s Financial Aid Office immediately to see if your financial aid application is complete. You must respond quickly to any requests from Financial Aid staff for additional information, etc. to avoid any problems with your enrollment process.
