CPR and First Aid classes have resumed. During the pandemic, all classes will be in a blended-learning format consisting of an on-line cognitive portion with skills practice & testing done in a classroom setting. The number of participants will be limited to comply with the guidelines set forth by LAUSD following AHA guidelines based on the CDC & the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health recommendations.
Every effort will be made to accommodate staff in need of renewal. Due to the pandemic the AHA has provided a 120-day grace period for renewal for those whose cards expired March 2020-August 2020. If your certification has expired, you should be making every effort to get your certification up to date. If your certification is due September – December 2020 the 120-day grace period no longer applies, therefore you need to get your certification completed during the month it expires.
See links for schedule of classes and instructions on how to register for the on-line & skills testing components.
Our commitment is to provide safe, high-quality CPR and First Aid training during this challenging time with the health and safety of everyone in mind.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
