CPR and First Aid classes will resume in mid-August at the District Nursing Service Office at Roybal Annex. Class schedules will be posted at the DNS website and on MyPLN for the Fall Semester. See links for schedule of classes and instructions on how to register for the on-line & skills testing components on MyPLN.
All classes are in the blended-learning format consisting of an on-line cognitive portion with skills practice & testing done in a classroom setting. The number of participants remain limited to comply with the guidelines set forth by LAUSD following AHA guidelines based on the CDC & the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health recommendations. A Daily Pass to District Nursing SC is required for admittance to class.
Your current certification is only good until the end of the month that it expires. Please allow yourself time to complete the online class and register for a skills testing session within 60 days of completing the online portion.
Our commitment remains to be to provide safe, high-quality CPR and First Aid training during this challenging time with the health and safety of everyone in mind.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
