On behalf of LAUSD Local District Northwest, its parents, teachers, and amazing students, we would like to thank all for their incredible efforts to bring STEAM Fest 2017 to life.
This celebration of student voice from the participating 104 Northwest schools was a clarion call to our community to innovate, invent, and campaign for solutions to global challenges aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and sought to capture the aspirations of our teachers and students to make a difference through real-world, relevant instruction. The event showcased the integration of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics across five performance spaces and four themed “lands”.
Thank you again to everyone involved for engaging in collaboration, representing our community, and being an inspiration to us and to each other at this year's Fest.
