• Middle Grades Resolution

  • The Middle Grades Resolution, "Creating a Collaborative to Focus on the Middle Grades," was established January 12, 2016. The Division of Instruction is working with stakeholders from around the district to reimagine the middle grades for LAUSD.

The Learning Group established the foundations of our work by identifying five Areas of Need for our middle grades students, as well as identifying promising practices currently happening in schools throughout the district. The Working Group created prototypes through a series of Design Thinking sessions, which are currently being developed and piloted in schools.
