    LASPD Diversion Referral - BUL-6454.1

    The purpose of this Bulletin is to delineate and align roles and responsibilities for the Los Angeles School Police Department (LASPD) officers and the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) personnel when a student engages in misconduct as it relates to applicable violations of the law on campus or when a student is going to or coming from school. When applicable laws and statutes apply, the Diversion Referral bulletin encourages non-punitive problem-solving strategies rather than a citation or arrest-driven enforcement.  To learn more, please click the link below.

    Prevention, Early Intervention, Cessation, Intervention and Resources to Support Students Regarding Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Intoxicants - BUL -3277.2

    The purpose of this bulletin is to provide school administrators and other school personnel with information regarding state and federal laws as they relate to maintaining schools free of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) and other intoxicants. In addition, the purpose is to inform staff regarding the serious dangers of electronic devices, such as electronic cigarettes, that deliver nicotine or other vaporized liquids, and the ease of access to intoxicants, including nonconventional, minimally regulated intoxicants, by school-aged children within our communities.  To learn more, please click the link below.
