Affordable Care Act (ACA) Compliance Update: In January 2016, the District will provide employees with a new tax form called 1095-C. The ACA requires that large employers provide the form because it documents whether an eligible employee received an offer of ACA-compliant medical nsurance each month during 2015. The District must issue the form to all eligible employees. Employees may also receive form 1095-B from their medical plans. This form documents the months with ACA-compliant medical coverage during the year. Keep both forms; you may need to file them with your 2015 tax return.
